Hi all, I recently got my motorola maxx and I like it. I was wondering if anyone new of any apps that could sync your iTunes library to your android device? I have some ringtones and music that I would like to be able to use on my new phone. As far as the ringtones are concerned, is there a certain formatt that they have to be? I know the ringtone files on iTunes are .m4r, but I was wondering what the extentions would be to get them on my android phone? Is there a way to manually get them to work? Thanks,
Leslie

I just copied songs over to my phone without converting them from MP3 to another format. I put one of them into the ring tones folder, then went into settings, sound and volume, and choose ring tone. The settings arrangement could be different on your phone.

Thanks Senior.
As far as plugging my phone into the computer, is there anything I need to keep in mind? I've just switched from iPhone to android, and I don't want to mess things up.

Hi.
You can use any song on your phone as a ringtone. It doesn't necessarily has to be in the ringtones folder.
But if it isn't saved in the ringtones folder you will need a file manager installed to be able to set it as a ringtone.
I have es file explorer myself.
When i want to choose a ringtone from the sound settings, i get asked which app i need to use to choose the ringtone and i choose es file explorer.
Then i go to the folder where my song is saved and i can choose it.
I used mp3s and wavs so far but i think acc and augg can be used as well.
For your ifone ringtones I think you can rename the ringtones from m4r to m4a and then you can oppen them in goldwave and save them as mp3 or something so they can be used.
I am not sure if android can play m4r files.
Good luck.
